Ukrainian evening

In the foreground of this painting is a Ukrainian road, which is almost unknown where it begins and where it ends. The sky is stretched over it, the sun is setting, and along the road in the background, in the steppe, there are Ukrainian wattle and daub huts that are almost gone now. Time has changed and modern buildings have replaced them, but this depicts a traditional Ukrainian village that many generations have wanted to see free and prosperous.
